The Gambler's Rags is a critical-based armor that greatly increases Critical Chance.
The total Critical Chance it gives, the flat increase along with the stats, adds up to +11%, +23% and +35% at Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 respectively.
Landing 3 critical strikes in a row while wearing the rags will activate a 5 second 'Hot Streak' which will increase Critical Chance by 90% and increase Critical Damage by 20% * Level. However, if hit while in 'Hot Streak', the player will take triple the usual damage and the 'Hot Streak' will end.

It's found behind a puzzle door in the 8th room of the Guardian Temple. (Requires Ice Soul, Double Jump and Void Soul)
Note: It is possible to not have the need for Double Jump. When almost getting on to the ledge above, a quick use of Solar Beam will give the character enough height to get up on the ledge.
